Why it matters
We make what we fit, in our own workshop
Old houses are never square. A window bought from a catalogue is made for a standard opening, then packed out with foam. Ours is made for yours: we take the measurements ourselves, we build to them, and if something is off on the day, we are the ones who fix it.
Measured by the person who builds. The measurements never pass through three pairs of hands.
Timber chosen at the yard. Oak, sweet chestnut, larch or pine, according to the job and the exposure.
Repairs as well as new work. A sash that sticks or a door that drops, we adjust it rather than sell you a new one.
Wood, PVC, aluminium: we fit all four
No material is best everywhere. Here is what each one brings, and we will tell you honestly which suits your house.
Warm, repairable and repaintable, the natural choice for an old house. Needs a coat of finish every few years, depending on exposure.
The most affordable, insulates well and needs almost no upkeep. Its frames are wider, so a little less glass.
Slim frames and large glazed areas, ideal for bay windows. Always with a thermal break, or it lets the cold through.
Wood inside for the warmth, aluminium outside for the weather. The most durable, and the most expensive.

Grants and VAT in 2026
What the state still pays for, said plainly
5.5% VAT on insulating joinery
Windows, entrance doors and insulating shutters that meet the required performance, in a home completed more than two years ago. Most other renovation work is at 10%.
MaPrimeRénov', in a whole-house renovation
Since 1 September 2026, it no longer funds windows on their own. They remain eligible within a whole-house renovation, carried out by RGE-certified businesses.
Energy savings premium (CEE)
Still possible when new windows replace single glazing, with an RGE-certified fitter. We put the right wording on the quote.
The town hall, before the work
A new colour, material or opening on the facade needs a prior declaration, usually decided within a month. We prepare the drawings.
After the fitting
Three guarantees, written into the law
- 1 yr
Completion guarantee
Any defect reported in the year after handover is put right.
- 2 yrs
Proper operation
Handles, hinges, locks and motors: everything that can be removed without damaging the building.
- 10 yrs
Ten-year insurance
Damage that compromises the building or makes it unfit for use, such as water getting in.
